5. NEWS ITEM: SBC Receives Brand New Cessna Caravan

With the news that St. Barth Commuter would be getting a second Cessna Caravan in April 2010 (see the January 2010 issue), I was keen on hearing news when exactly they would be receiving the brand new aircraft as I wanted to see it for myself and meet with Mr. Bruno Magras to discuss using this aircraft on the San Juan-St. Barths route for our shared charter service.

Well, the Cessna Grand Caravan arrived this month indeed and I went over to St. Barths to have a look. I am definitely using this baby on the St. Barths-San Juan route and also for shared charters to the US Virgin Islands of St. Croix and St. Thomas.

I will offer shared charters between St. Barths and San Juan, Puerto Rico, starting at $350 US Dollars per person per one-way; $700 roundtrip. 6. TRAVEL TIP: Have Your Passport Details Handy
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When you are booking a private charter or a shared charter with us we will not only need your connection flight information such as airline name, flight numbers and flight times, but also your passport details.

Besides your full name and date of birth we will also need your passport number, issue date, expiration date and nationality. We especially need this information for our VIP Services and Pre-Check-In Services.

With our brand new Premium VIP Services, we will meet you at the jetbridge when you arrive with a name sign holding up. We will then escort you and put you up in the VIP Lounge while we clear you through Immigration and retrieve your luggage for you.

If you book the Premium VIP Package for the outbound leg, we will meet you when you arrive at the airport, check you in, escort you through security (bypassing the masses; no waiting; no standing in lines) and put you up in the Soualiga Business Class Lounge until your flight is ready for boarding. At boarding time, you will be escorted to the boarding gate.

With the regular VIP Services (from $125), you report to our Transit Information Desk after deboarding and meet our VIP Services Agent there, who will then assist you further. This regular VIP Service does not include the use of the VIP Lounge nor the Soualiga Business Class Lounge. If person(s) want to use the Soualiga Business Class Lounge, the entrance fee is $20 per person.

Our Premium VIP Services Packages consists of:

• Inbound: $400 per couple for arrivals/transits
• Outbound: $375 per couple for transits/departures
• Round trip: $750 per couple for both arrivals and departures

Booking Procedure & Reservation Information

Submit a reservation request online at www.airsxm.com. Once we receive your request, we will send you a Reservation Offer for your consideration. Once you accept our proposal, we will require payment. You can use our credit card form to send us your credit card information. We accept all major credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. You can also pay by bank transfer, check, cash or Paypal. Once payment is received, we will book the commercial flight or private charter and send you a Reservation Confirmation.

If you have requested additional services such as VIP Transfer Services, we will send you a Final Confirmation containing all details of your travel itinerary and services booked. And that's how you book with AirStMaarten.
