INTRO: "Innovate or Say Goodbye"

Dear reader,

In the aviation ecosystem we have seen so many comings and goings of airline companies that you would wonder what the big problem really is. Why isn't there more stable growth and innovation? The big airlines most likely have the motto Innovate or Consolidate given the many mergers and acquisitions in the airline industry the past couple of years. But for many of the airlines that are now defunct, most likely it was Innovate or Die. In some cases, it was a matter of do or die.

This month's issue features an article entitled "Innovate and Deliver Pizza" because for years we at AirStMaarten have been delivering flowers. So we can relate to the topic. But what we at AirStMaarten have done to innovate is that we have decided to expand our private jet charter business with the acquisition of US-based private jet charter broker, FlyBlackJet.com. Below, you can read the full press release in this months' issue of our AirStMaarten newsletter.

Best regards,

Terrance Rey

In case you are reading about AirStMaarten's private charters program for the first time, here is some background information on our shared charters.

WHAT ARE SHARED CHARTERS?
A Shared Charter is when you book a Private Charter and you Only Pay for the Seat You Occupy. Not for the whole aircraft. AirStMaarten has been successfully organizing shared charters to St. Barths since November 2006.

HOW OUR SHARED CHARTERS WORK
Travel Agents and clients book our shared charters for seamless connections and hassle-free transfers to St. Barths and surrounding islands such as Anguilla, St. Kitts, Nevis, St. Eustatius, Antigua and Tortola.

HERE IS HOW OUR SHARED CHARTERS WORK...
1) If 1 or 2 people request to share a private charter, the shared charter is scheduled.
2) Once 3 or 4 people book the shared charter, the shared charter is confirmed and you are good to go!

If the shared charter is not confirmed, passengers are booked on a regular commercial flight with complimentary VIP Services to ensure their transit is smooth and hassle-free.

Visit www.sharedcharters.com for more information, scheduling and availabilities.

Adformercial: StMaartenTours.info offers you the opportunity to book your island tours in advance to your arrival on St. Maarten, whether for the day by cruise ship, or during your vacation stay on the island. We have a wide range of island tours to choose from, including air tours, city tours, beach tours, mountain tours, historical tours, shopping tours, restaurant & bar tours, all day tours, jeep safari tours and our various popular water sports activities. By Terrance Rey

In our modern day advertising space achievements are all directly related to the amount of eyeballs and clicks a marketing campaign can obtain.

The challenge to reach the masses are getting more and more difficult with the increasing advertising distractions and online attention demanding six-seconds video clips, memes, instagrams, selfies, chats and tweets on social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Whatsapp. How does a company compete against this barrage of attention grabbing attractions and gimmicks?

You innovate!

In a most recent case presented by our local airline company Winair and St. Maarten-based Domino's Pizza, a marketing innovation was introduced. Here is the video clip on the promotional stunt idea they came up with...

5. NEWS ITEM: "ReyJet Acquires Private Jet Charter Broker FlyBlackJet"

REYJET.COM ACQUIRES PRIVATE JET CHARTER BROKER FLYBLACKJET.COM

St. Maarten -- September 2015 -- ReyJet acquires Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based private jet charter broker FlyBlackJet.com. In a move to secure a foothold in the US private jet charter market, Dutch Caribbean-based ReyJet, has inked an agreement with the site operator of the privately-held FlyBlackJet.com to take over the website’s operations for an undisclosed amount. The website’s operation will be completely assimilated into the ReyJet website at www.reyjet.com.

ReyJet is a service of the St. Maarten-based virtual airline operator, AirStMaarten, owned and operated by the internet travel entrepreneur, Terrance Rey. AirStMaarten, which specializes in organizing shared charters in and out of St. Maarten to such exotic Caribbean islands as St. Barths, Anguilla, Tortola, Virgin Gorda and St. Vincent & The Grenadines, has spun off its private jet charter operations under the brand name “ReyJet.com”. With this month’s acquisition of FlyBlackJet.com, the group of travel companies owned by Terrance Rey, expect to expand its operations into the continental USA market.

Commenting on the acquisition, Terrance Rey, CEO of AirStMaarten said: “ReyJet will leverage the FlyBlackJet.com’s internet marketing infrastructure and operators network in the US market to deliver even greater service and quality to its discerning Caribbean-bound private jet clients. We look forward to seeing the benefits this acquisition will bring to the private charter clients of both AirStMaarten and ReyJet.

AirStMaarten is well-known among seasoned Caribbean travelers and Caribbean-bound private jet operators looking for seamless and hassle-free inter-island private charter connections throughout the Caribbean, especially between the destinations of St. Maarten, St. Barths and Anguilla. However, the goal of ReyJet is to create awareness amongst the AirStMaarten clientele to garner significant market share in the private jet charter business from the mainland of the United States to the Caribbean utilizing the ReyJet.com brand.

Commenting on the acquisition of FlyBlackJet.com, Terrance Rey, CEO of ReyJet.com continues: “FlyBlackJet.com arranges aircraft flights everywhere within the United States of America on behalf of charter clients with certified direct air carriers that exercise full operational control of charter flights at all times. Flights are operated by FAR Part 135 air carriers that have been certified to provide service for FlyBlackJet.com clients and that meet all FAA safety standards and additional safety standards established by FlyBlackJet.com. We at ReyJet.com look forward to continuing this commitment to aviation safety, reliance, expertise, international excellence and the industry leading client service FlyBlackJet.com’s clients have come to expect. We are now looking forward to building on that success to date within the expanded AirStMaarten-ReyJet private charters group of companies.
